Hi, guys. It's Jodie here from Homepeel. Hope you're having a great day. For those of you who have not seen me before, I'm the owner and founder of Homepeel. I've been running Homepeel for 16 years. I'm 49.I'm super passionate about skincare, and I do all my videos without makeup on. And today that's going to be pretty obvious because I'm growing this giant pimple here for a ball I'm going to on Saturday night. So I haven't had a pimple like this in I can't even remember. So what great timing. Hey. But I suppose a lot of you can relate to that because the skin is a bit naughty sometimes.
Anyway, back to business. I'm doing this video because I've had a lot of requests for people asking me about what a good morning routine would be. And that is because a lot of you who come into the Homepeel tribe tend to come in by buying either the Unicorn pack or the Dip Your Toe in the Water Starter kit. And both of those start off with the three serums, which is the Retinol, the lactic acid and the Hyaluronic. And they're awesome. They're awesome on their own. Like, they have lots of different functions, but they're actually really great to use altogether at night as an overnight treatment. And I'd really love people to start off their journey with Homepeel with those three because I love that fact that they can see noticeable results straight away.
So that's really great. But in saying that, those products can be used in other ways, and today I'm going to talk about that. Advising on a morning routine isn't it as easy as it seems? And that's because all skin is different and your desire and your needs may be different. And that's actually why Homepeel has the skincare coaches, because we really want to make sure that you get the right products to give you the results that you want and also use them in the way that your skin needs them in order to get the best out of them. We really are a company that likes to hold your hand all the way through the process. But what I'm going to do, I'm going to try my best. I'm going to, first of all, give you an option, which is if you bought either one of those two kits, the Dip Your Toe in the Water Starter Kit or the unicorn pack, because in that pack you'll have these three serums. You would have got the 48Hours Miracle Cream, which is this. It here, which is lactic acid based.
And then of course, you'll have the Hyaluronic acid, which is super hydrating. It's so natural that you could drink it. And then of course, the Retinal serum, which is here, which mine's a little bit dirty, okay, because it's got makeup all over it. Now, what I would suggest is if you've just bought that and you want to trial out a morning routine without buying any more products, I would suggest the Hyaluronic and the 48 Hours Miracle Cream. So you've gotten up, you've washed your face, and then you'll put a layer of the Hyaluronic. What's really good about this product is the fact that it instantly plumps. So Hyaluronic and I've spoken about this a lot, holds a thousand times its own weight in water.
So basically, when it goes into the skin, it'll find any water around and it'll pump that skin. You'll notice if you've got little tiny, fine dehydration lines, they'll come out. But it just gives this really amazing sheen to your skin. It's just very hydrating. Has a little bit of radish root in it as well, which is an antioxidant. It's beautiful. And that sinks into the skin. So it kind of goes. It feels tad sticky at the start. Just keep patting and eventually it's gone. It's like you didn't put it on. So it's not like the moisturiser that you use where you have a tiny film on the top, which is a bit lubricating. That goes. So right now I sort of feel like it's gone. And that's because it's a hydrator. It's designed to go into the skin to plump. So we put that on first because it's a great base for your moisturiser.
Now what we're going to do is we're going to try well, what we're going to do is we're going to try and use the 48 Hours Miracle Cream, which is lactic acid based as a day moisturiser. The reason why I say try is because not all skin is going to be able to tolerate this. This product is super hydrating. It's really very hydrating, but at the same time, it's quite active. So some skin will actually, if you use it too much, will start to go a little bit red and a bit irritated. So if that happens, it's really beautiful. Look at that. If that happens, that means that you're using it too much. So if you've bought the kit and you're sort of getting a little bit red, that's the reason why. So what I usually suggest to people, if you've got normal general skin and you've never had a problem with your skin or any sort of products, go ahead and use it every night with the Hyaluronic and the retinol. Beautiful. And if you want to use it in the morning, try that as well. If you get no issues, that's a fantastic morning routine. And if you want to if you've got the budget for it, it'd be great to put in another serum, depending on where you're at.
So I've just happened to have handy here, like a vitamin C serum. Like, vitamin C is so hydrating. Like, this product here has a blend of vitamin C. It's got 10% Kakadu plum in it. So it's actually the highest form of stable vitamin C in the world. Like, it's incredible. And obviously very Australian. Like, it's unique to Australia, this product. So serums are great. Serums are good. So you can sort of couple it with any kind of serum that you want on the top. Not necessary, but this is really beautiful. Smells amazing. So brightening. I mean, I'm sure most of you know how important vitamin C is. Ours is just delicious. I'll go through all of the ingredients in another video, but there's some incredible ingredients in this. Okay, so that would be the vitamin C. I'm good to go. But you might not be interested in vitamin C or you might already have a vitamin C.
We have a lot of other different products that you could sort of look at. What have I got here? Pigmentation serum. Like that's amazing. That has vegetable melanin in it, that's derived from date palm. It has licorice root, it has mulberry extract, like all the big players for lightening skin. So you could try that. But as I said, you don't need to put the serum on as well if you don't want to get another product. These are just ideas to think about down the track. So essentially you could use the Hyaluronic, like I said, and the 48 Hours Miracle Cream. And down the track you could get yourself a serum. Choose which one suits you best. The last thing that I'll talk about is if you feel like your skin needs more moisture, like it's the type of skin that just needs proper moisture, like moisturiser, then our peptide cream is 100% the way to go.4% rice protein, which is clinically proven to create new elastin and strengthen the elastin matrix.
Now I would put this on except for the fact that it's kind of empty and what's a little bit in there. Oh, no, look at that. Excellent. Okay, great. So this would certainly be the product If you've got the 48 Hours Miracle Cream. So if you've got the dip your toe in the water starter pack or the unicorn pack and you're thinking about, what can I get next, this is certainly the next player you want to put into your collection. Just feels like silk. I've had people tell me it grows eyebrows back. It's probably done that to mine. I probably can't even tell because mine are tattooed. That's why a lot of people think that I'm wearing makeup in these videos, because my eyebrows are tattooed and I've got lash extensions on, but I certainly am not wearing any makeup. Who's got time for that before you have to do a video? Haven't even really brushed my hair properly. Okay, so just to recap, morning, if you've got the 48Hours Miracle Cream and the Hyaluronic, which most of you do, you could try that out and that could just be it. And then down the track, throw in a serum and the peptide cream.
If you feel like at the moment that you need more moisturiser, the peptide cream is the way to go. Third thing to note, if your skin cannot tolerate the 48 Hours Miracle Cream twice a day, or not even every day, pull back. Certainly don't use it twice a day. Certainly don't use it every day. If your skin's a little bit sensitive and you've received it, maybe start off by only using it every second night. And I'm sort of flipping back to the night routine here, even though this is a morning routine video. But I just want to sort of put that in there because I know a lot of you have it if you're using it at night and anything but glowy skin is happening, like a little bit red or a bit irritated, all you need to do is pull back and use it every second night.
But certainly contact us and let us know because we're here to help. So I hope that that has helped a little bit .If you've got any questions, we are here to help again. So let me know and enjoy your morning routine. Thanks. Players bye.
