Hi there. I'm Jodie Baker. I'm the owner and founder of Homepeel. I've been running Homepeel for 17 years. It's been my life's work, and skincare is my absolute passion. I'm 49 years old and I do all my videos without any makeup. And today I'm here to talk about homepeel, vitamin C serum and collagen serum and what they have in common and why. I get a lot of questions about the two of them. So, as you know, both of them are cosmeceutical grade natural skincare. So cosmeceutical grade meaning that the percentages of the actual of the active ingredients are at high percentages, so that they can really pack a punch. There's no point having them at low percentages because they won't do anything. But these products do not have any added toxins in them, no added junk ingredients that age your skin that are aggressive, that cause a lot of problems. So that's why homepeel is great with cosmeceutical grade natural skincare now.

So let's keep moving on. So the vitamin C serum is incredible. We all love vitamin C. It's a must have in all skincare routines because, of course, it's an antioxidants. Antioxidants fight free radical damage. So free radicals are these little nasties that run around our body or our skin, and they cause a lot of damage and they are caused by pollution, but mainly in skincare. We will just talk about the UV damage from the sun. So let's just think about free radicals coming in from the sun, running around, causing a lot of damage. Antioxidants fight free radical damage. So it's wonderful for antiaging, but it also works for Brightening. It's just a must have. So that's our one there, and that's at a 10%. Beautiful concentration. It's got a blend of all these different types of vitamin C's, inclusive of kakadu plum, which is the world's number one ingredient with the highest amount of vitamin C in it. So obviously native to Australia. Fantastic. So the vitamin C, sorry, our collagen serum also has vitamin C in it at a 5%. So this one's at a 10%. Okay. And this one's at a 5%. But obviously, including in this is, of course, our seaweed collagen, which is taking over the world at the moment. Everyone can't get enough of this beautiful vegan seaweed collagen.

So I would say what people ask which one to use if you're not using anything at all with vitamin C in it. And a lot of people actually already have vitamin C in other ingredients, obviously go for the vitamin C serum that stands alone, or if you feel like your skin needs to have more collagen or your antiaging is more of a concern than Brightening, I suppose that's probably the main thing. If collagen is more of a concern than Brightening, I would go with the collagen. But they're both really good. And if you have a look at our video that I did about the good morning or our morning routine packs I sort of go into. We have one of the packs. Well, both packs have either this one or that one. So both of the packs have vitamin C in it. And we've chosen very carefully which one will go with which, because one is designed for pigmentation.

I've gone a little bit off topic there. Anyway, so you're going to get vitamin C no matter what. But if collagen is something that you feel is really required in your skin, then go the collagen serum. But if you're not really concerned about that, go the vitamin C and you're going to get extra brightening. And I suppose also if you're spending a lot of time in the sun, if you live in a really sunny environment, maybe the vitamin C would be the best option for you. Of course, we have lots of clients who have used both, not both together. They'll do. One day they'll use the vitamin C serum and the next day they'll use the collagen. So they're getting all of the goodies. Okay, that's it for me today. If you have any questions, please email us at skincarecoach@homepeel.comau. We're really all about offering support at Homepeel because cosmeceutical grade skincare is more powerful, more active, and does require more support and attention. And that's why we're here to help. Have a great day. See you later.
