Official Green Herb Skin Peel Video Instructions

How does skin peel work?

Hey guys!

Today, we’re going to do a green herb skin peel. I’m going to show you how to do it, step-by-step. I’m going to explain to you a little bit about what the green herb skin peel is and what it does and how it gives these amazing results. We have been selling this all over the world for over 10 years and we have thousands and thousands of customers who absolutely adore us. We’ve changed their lives.

Let me explain how the skin works. Your healthy skin cell starts below the surface at the dermis. Over a 28-day period, it slowly starts to rise to the surface of the skin. And as it’s rising it is also of flattening out. Eventually it rises, flattens and dies off and this is what the surface of your skin is - the stratum corneum. It is basically like a mask of dead skin cells, tightly compacted together. It’s function is to protect your skin from the UVA and UVB.

When we do a peel like this, we’re doing two things. We’re removing that stratum corneum.

We are actually just removing dead skin cells. All skin peels work that way. So, there’s a little bit of a misconception that you’re peeling off living skin, you’re not, it’s just dead skin. Secondly, when you remove that stratum, corneum, you’re actually accelerating the skin’s natural 28-day exfoliation cycle.

So when you remove it, the skin kind of wakes up and goes, “Wow! We’ve lost our stratum corneum. We better hurry up and try and replace it!” So it gets cracking and it starts to produce new collagen and elastin and gets everything moving again. So that’s why you get the really beautiful plumping, the beautiful texture.

In time, after a few different treatments, you get that lessening of pigmentation. Some people have managed to remove their pigmentation and sunspots after just one treatment -it’s just amazing.

That is why the green herb peel produces the amazing results.

How to do the peel at home?

First thing you do is cleanse your skin and tie your hair back. The next thing to do is to protect some areas of the skin that you don’t want the peel to go onto; very sensitive areas. So these are these areas around the nose and also these areas here on the sides of the mouth. I suggest you use coconut oil. Now we mix the herbs and the lotion together. In a bowl, add one teaspoon of dried herbs and add about 1 tablespoon of the liquid to form a paste.

Next put on gloves and you are ready to start.

Apply the paste onto your skin with your fingertips and start rubbing it around on your skin in a circular motion. Continue to apply and massage into your skin. Your skin will start warming up and tingling. Ideally you continue this process for 5 mins from when you feel the tingling. This will vary person to person. Be careful to keep it away from your eyes and avoid those sensitive areas. The skin will go red and may even go white and ‘frost’- which means it will peel.
The heat and tingling will intensify and it will be quite uncomfortable-this is to be expected. Fan your skin to help alleviate this and then persist adding more herbs and rubbing in a circular motion. You may need to add a little more liquid to the herbs if they dry out.

Once you’ve finished your 5mins of intensity, it is time to wash it off. I find the shower is the best way - put the cold water directly on your skin and take it off quickly. As the cold water hits your skin, the stinging will briefly worsen and then you will have relief. Once it’s all washed off, pat your skin dry.

Your skin will probably be very red.

It will most likely be quite red again the next day. The skin might start to feel a bit dry, a bit dark. The pigmentation might go dark instantly. Don’t panic! That’s a really good thing. Everybody’s skin behaves in a different way. You can contact us anytime and we will help you through this process! The first time that you do it, it tends to be a bit of a learning curve.

What to expect

Not everyone peels the first time. This is because they get a bit afraid and they don’t push the peel hard enough. Once you’ve had a trial run you will know how your skin is going to react, and once again, please reach out to us and we will help you through that process.

Day three and four are going to be your main peeling days. If you want to be peeling on the weekend, we suggest you do the peel on Wednesday night, then Thursday and Friday your skin will look a bit red and sunburnt. Saturday and Sunday you will be peeling. Sunday night you then do a really nice steam. You get a bowl of boiling water- and I add a drop lavender for relaxation - then you take a towel, put your head over the bowl of water and the towel over your head and allow the steam to soften your skin.

You then apply oil to the skin, I use coconut oil, and gently starting rubbing in a circular motion and dead skin cells will start to come off. There is no need to go too hard and don’t try and get all of the skin off at once. The areas around the edges tend to sort of be a little bit more stubborn. The rest will come off organically. Do not actively ‘peel’ your skin. It will happen in its own time.
You should see the full results in about a week. You’ll wake up one day and you’ll be getting out of the shower and you’ll look at your skin and you’ll be like, “oh my God, I can’t believe how beautiful my skin is!”

Avoid sun exposure

Make sure your skin is very protected over the five day peeling process. In fact, you really shouldn’t get any sun exposure because your skin’s going to be so much more sensitive to sun now. Use a hat and plenty of sunscreen. This is imperative.

The instructions say not to wear makeup and not to get your skin wet for the next five days. If you have really oily skin, once a day, wash your skin with a cheap bar of soap and water, and then pat it dry, this will strip the oils out of your skin and help dry the drying out process, because the drier your skin is, the faster and more effective the skin peel will be. Because that skin needs to dry and crack to peel off!
