Hi, guys. It's Jodie from Homepeel. So recently I did a video on not overstripping your skin with your cleanser. So the same goes for exfoliating. So many of us feel like if the more exfoliation that we do to our skin, the more soft our skin is going to be. And obviously to a certain degree, that is true. But it's kind of like a short term solution that could result in a long term problem. Because from over exfoliating your skin, you can damage your skin's barrier. So your skin's barrier is basically a barrier that sits on the top of your skin. It's your skin surface, and it's responsible for protection. And if you damage that, you're going to have dry, scaly skin. I mean, you might already have this. You might be thinking, hang on a minute. That's what my skin is doing right now. It can get red and irritated. It goes a bit dry. Patches of it might go a little bit darker. You may even have an infection. So if you have over exfoliated, you may have damaged your skin's barrier. If you have, let us know. We have amazing solutions for that. But this is just a quick video to let you know not to over exfoliate your skin. In fact, in my last video, I was talking about our enzyme cleanser, which uses enzymatic compounds that chomp away dead skin cells rather than trying to strip them off manually, which can be a bit of a problem. And then, of course, a couple of times a week, you add to it our exfoliating crystals. So it's a very fine powder that you add with the gel, and it turns it into, like, a really fantastic exfoliator. So you don't over exfoliate, though. Okay, so thank you very much. We'll just put that over here in the sink. Okay, guys, so that's it from me. Have a great day. Bye.
