Hi, guys, it's Jodie from Homepeel. How you going? Today I'm going to talk about doing a quick video about what to do if you have broken your skin's barrier. So, recently, I've done a couple of videos about over exfoliating, over, cleansing, basically stripping your skin. Quite often, doing these can lead to a broken skin barrier, which you will know you have if suddenly your skin, no matter what you do, is just scaly, dry, red, irritated, have a little bit of discoloration, it might even look like it's infected.

So if you're in that position, you need to implement a strategy to repair your skin's barrier, which is the surface of your skin which is there for its protection and balance. So your thought process might be like, what products do I need to get that? And that's actually true, but you need to sort of take it back a step, because overuse of products quite often has resulted in breaking your skin's barrier. So maybe reducing the product use is what you need to get yourself out of it, because the skin needs some space to maybe self heal. It does need to have some nurturing ingredients and products, but really needs to be quite specialized for nurturing and allowing the skin to do its own self healing job.

So, Homepeel, I've done a few videos about how to repair your skin's barrier, because I get so many customers coming to me with a broken skin barrier. They're coming to me from other brands because obviously, Homepeek is cosmeceutical grade natural skincare. So we don't have any toxins in our products, but we do have cosmetic grade active ingredients, which means that the ingredients, the active ingredients that we have are at high percentages in order to be able to do the magic that they need to do. But in saying that, quite often it's those hidden toxins that are breaking other people's skins barrier.

So if you do have a broken skin barrier, please contact us.Um, I do have a video in our Instagram account. If you sort of have a look through, if you can't fly in it, contact one of ourskincare coaches and we will design for you apersonalized strategy to help repair your skin barrier. So thank you so much and see you around. Bye.
