1 Mix approximately one full teaspoon of the Green Herbs and enough of the Green Herb Lotion (approximately equal parts) to make a watery paste. Do this in a separate dry dish. Mix with a dry spoon.
2 Rub Green Herb paste gently into skin. KEEP well away from eyes.
3 Here is the part where you will need to learn how to read your skin. The longer you leave the paste on your skin, the more intense your peel will be. It's best to start off with the intention of doing a light peel first. This will give you the opportunity to understand how susceptible your skin will be to peeling. So, the first time you do a Green Herb Skin Peel, allow the paste to sit on your skin until the skin turns quite red and feels very hot, (1-2minutes). Also, it's best to keep gently rubbing the herbs into the skin whilst the paste is on the skin., You can add more Green Herb Skin Peel Lotion if required.
4 Your goal is to really get the herbs into the skin. There are hundreds of vitamins and minerals present in our herb mixture. Plus hundreds of active substances.
5 Rinse off thoroughly with water (preferably in the shower). Your skin may sting for a moment as soon as the water hits, but this will subside almost instantly.
6 You will start to peel in approximately the next two to three days. First you skin may feel very tight and dry - a little like sunburn. Then it may feel like a thick mask is on your skin. Eventually this thick mask will crack and peel. The longer it takes for your skin to crack and peel the better the result will be for you as it gives your skin more time to create new collagen fibers. Essentially, you have accelerated the skin's natural exfoliation.
7 Use Homepeel Marine Nourishing Cream provided in kit as often as you like during this period. Do not use any other products (aside from your make-up as long as it has no strong, active ingredients. Don't mind the fishy smell. We don't believe in irritating fragrances at Homepeel Pty Ltd. The fish smell is nothing more than the bladderwack (seaweed) that we get from France. It's a very faint smell and it goes away after a minute or two. This cream can be used as your general moisturiser as it has perfect moisturising properties in it; vitamin E, Shea butter, bladderwack. BUT IT DOES NOT have SPF – You must also wear a SPF!!
8 You can still go about your normal business in this time. You will have noticeably flakey skin – but as it's so common these days to do a peel, you shouldn't be concerned. Just tell people it's a Homepeel and give them the business card provided in your kit!
9 On the last day of peeling (after at least three days of peeling), it's time for luxury. Give your skin a big vitamin pill by using the Recovery Oil provided in the kit. The best indication to know when to do this is that the skin seems to be peeling off with ease naturally. It's important all through this process to never force skin to peel off until it is ready to peel off naturally.
