Here are some hair mask recipes to help your tresses regain their health and beauty:

  • Wheat germs hair mask
  • If you are looking to thicken your hair and restore it’s shine and flexibility wheat germ hair mask can definitely help you. Put the wheat germs in a bowl with hot water and let them sit for about 5 minutes. Drain the excess water out and apply the wet wheat germs over your entire hair. Let them sit for about 10 minutes and then wash your hair thoroughly.

  • Egg yolk hair mask
  • In order to regenerate your hair and restore it’s vitality, density and shine apply an egg yolk based hair mask. Mix an egg yolk with a few drops of vitamin A, vitamin E and Castor oil. Apply the mixture on your scalp and gently massage the mixture in. Let it sit for a few hours and wash your hair as regular. Repeat 3 times a week until your hair starts to regenerate and regain vitality.

  • Honey hair mask
  • Honey is known for it’s nutrients. It can restore dull looking hair making it shiny and healthy looking. Mix a teaspoon of natural honey with 16 ounces of warm water. Make sure the honey dissolved in the water and apply the mixture onto your freshly washed hair. The honey will make the hair look shiny and healthy. Dry the excess water out using a towel then dry and style the hair as usual.

  • Apple vinegar hair mask
  • Apple vinegar is great for restoring hair vitality and shine. It is especially recommended for oily hair. Mix a small amount of apple vinegar with a gallon of water and apply the mixture over your freshly washed damp hair. Never apply the vinegar without diluting it because it will cause your hair to smell.

  • Olive oil hair mask
  • Extra virgin olive oil is known for it’s healthy benefits and nutrients. It is great to hydrate and regenerate the hair. Warm up a little bit of extra virgin olive oil and apply it over the entire head. Wrap your head with a warm towel an let the olive oil sit for about 20 minutes. Shampoo, condition your hair and style as usual.
